Espiritu Del Agave

Espíritu del Agave – “Spirit of the Agave” – is born from the Blue Weber Agave plant, carefully cultivated in the vibrant, rolling highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Patiently ripened to perfection and later rested in oak barrels for 60 days, the agave reveals a smooth and subtle sweetness, which, with no added sugars, comes solely from the agave itself. Don’t be fooled by the clear pour: it carries a honeyed warmth, capturing the spirit of the agave plant, from its sun-soaked sweetness to its smooth, mellow depth. Take your time and enjoy it neat, in all its glory, or rather, it’s equally at home in a cocktail.

I created this 'brand' of Tequila for fun, as a way to learn Adobe Illustrator and to develop and utilise my set dressing and film photography skills. I did everything independently, from the mood boarding, prop buying and graphic designing, to the set dressing, photography and editing. Having not done something like this before, it was an enjoyable challenge!

My aim was to create a brand of Tequila that felt modern, appealing to a more youthful (age range 20s-30s) audience.

I wanted the imagery to feel warm and bright, drawing from the agave’s natural environment with its terracotta coloured soil and strong sunlight.
